It is headquartered in London Luton, offering airline capacity of some seven million sector seats and tour operating passenger volumes of some 850,000 customers.
The Group has an over 50-year trading history and comprises well-regarded and long-established travel brands with strong heritage.

Monarch Airlines is a leading scheduled airline focused on the leisure sector, operating flights from five UK bases to destinations around the Mediterranean and the Canaries, including the Middle East. In 2012 it operates a fleet of 32 aircraft providing annual capacity of seven million sector seats.
A strategic priority for Monarch Airlines is to offer airline capacity to tour operators both through its scheduled operations and traditional charter activities, where it also continues with selected long-haul activities. For winter 2012/13 Monarch Airlines is launching its first scheduled ski programme with routes serving the ski resorts across the Alps and the Dolomites.
Monarch Airlines is a long-established brand and is now one of the leading scheduled carriers at its key bases in London Gatwick, and across the Midlands and north of England. The airline differentiates its leisure-focused product from its competitors through the delivery of a high-quality low-fare customer proposition focusing on choice and superior customer care. Monarch Airline’s unique ‘middle market’ positioning offers customers an enhanced service compared to low-cost carriers and better value than flag carriers.
The Group’s wholly-owned seat brokering operation First Aviation is a UK leading wholesaler of aviation seats to the leisure and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) industries from Monarch and third-party airlines from around the world. Flying more than 2.5 million sector passengers to over 50 mid and long-haul destinations worldwide every year - from VIP ‘Round-the-World’ tours to flying professional sporting teams and their supporters to events - First Aviation underpins core risk by organising and managing complex and bespoke itineraries.
