Villa Campets 2 Introduction

This villa is all about taking things easy. With its ochre-painted walls and whitewashed shutters, it stands in a tranquil residential area, giving you the peaceful and calm surroundings needed for a restful holiday.

The cheerful, modern exterior gives way to an equally welcoming interior, which offers up spick-and-span, contemporary accommodation. White walls and terracotta floor tiles provide a fresh-looking backdrop, and the owners have added subtly rustic touches for a countrified edge. Blue-and-yellow chequered curtains, a simple pine table and wrought iron lamps feature in the open-plan lounge-diner, along with comfortable blue sofas, which add to the understated farmhouse feel. The smart kitchen, meanwhile, is separated from the dining area by a bar and thoughtfully equipped with a washing machine and microwave.

A twin bedroom and bathroom round off the ground floor, with the remaining twin and double rooms upstairs sharing a full bathroom. The main double comes with exposed ceiling rafters and a balcony.

Outside, the pool sits in the rear garden, with its walk-in steps and terraces hugging the back of the house. Lawns and a shady olive tree overlook one end of the water and the whole garden is ringed by walls and fences for privacy.

When you want to get out and about, the villa is well placed. A sandy beach is just a kilometre away and the pretty, old capital of Menorca, Ciutadella, is a 15-minute drive away at most.
