Bars, shops and restaurants are all located along the Calle Principle, making it easy to wander along and enjoy a relaxed pace!

Cabarete stretches out beside a ribbon of fine sand around a sweeping bay. It lies about 30 km east of Puerto Plata and is backed by a meandering lagoon. Watersports are a popular pastime here - particularly windsurfing. There's also a selection of small gift shops and amenities around the Plazez Commerical Centre. Night-life is focused along the beach where you can find numerous restaurants.
