Grand Anse : Holiday Accommodation

Running for two miles along Grenada's western coast, Grand Anse Bay provides a beautiful setting for soaking up the island's colourful atmosphere. Carpeted in pale sands and fringed by nodding palms, the beach is lapped by sheltered turquoise waters perfect for lazy swimming. Top up your tan, stroll the sands or go diving or snorkelling around nearby Boss Reef to see its vibrant coral gardens and tropical fish. You'll find numerous restaurants strung along the sands in-between the luxury hotels and a sprinkling of stalls selling everything from beachwear and souvenirs to watersports rentals. The beach varies from being buzzing to peaceful, and friendly bars open at night under the palms so you can sip rum cocktails beside the whispering waves. When you fancy exploring, lively Grand Anse crafts and spice market is great for bargain browsing and charming St. George's, with its 18th century fort and bustling markets, is handily nearby.
