Korcula Island : Accommodation Only
The island of Korcula is situated just off the Peljesac Peninsula of mainland Croatia and is accesible by a short ferry ride. It's renowned for its natural beauty with some of the most abundant vegetation in the Adriatic. On the north eastern edge lies Korcula Town, a well-preserved medieval city. The architecture and cosmopolitan atmosphere reflects the numerous civilisations, from Roman and Greek to Croatian and Venetian, that have settled on the island throughout the centuries. There's a fascinating cathedral to visit along with the Museum of Icons. The traditional 'Moreska', a medieval fighting dance, has been performed once a week for over 400 years.
