Kourion Archaeological Site - If ancient Greek and Roman society fascinates you, don't miss Kourion. This is one of Cyprus's most impressive archaeological treasures, with its Greco-Roman theatre, villas, bath house and religious buildings among the structures to see. The earliest parts of this site date back to the 2nd century BC.
Tomb of the Kings - At this impressive UNESCO World Heritage Site you can see rock-cut tombs from the Hellenistic and early Roman period. You'll find them in the north-west of Paphos.
Phinikoudes Beach - This bay near Larnaca is one of the most famous in Cyprus and holds a Blue Flag award. The sea is generally calm and good for swimming. There are excellent facilities here, with restaurants, cafes, showers and public toilets all within easy reach.
Troodos Mountains - For active travellers, the Troodos Mountains are a major attraction thanks to their excellent walking trails. You can stroll through pine forests, past waterfalls and can reach vantage points that boast spectacular views.
