Why have I not received my tickets?

Monarch are a ticket-less airline. All you need to check in is your booking reference along with your passport or a valid EU national identity card (supported by any other relevant documentation such as visas).

Do I need to take my itinerary or any other printout with me to check-in?

You do not have to have your itinerary as long as you have your booking reference. However, it would be advisable to take your itinerary with you for reference.

What travel documents do I need to take with me?

Passengers are required to provide a valid passport or a valid EU national identity card, supported by any other relevant documentation such as visas.

What do I do if I've lost my tickets?

When you book with us you will receive an email itinerary confirming your booking details. (This itinerary is sent to you by post if you book through our call centre). It is not essential for you to have your itinerary in order to check-in, but we would encourage you to take it for reference. You will need to know your booking reference code.

If you have lost your itinerary and would like a replacement you can request this directly from your customer login area (if you booked online and have a login password). Alternatively please contact us.

Which terminals do Monarch fly from?

There are nine airports that we fly from that have more than one terminal building. At those airports, Monarch fly from the following terminals:

What if I lose my passport?

Please visit for www.passport.gov.uk for full details about what to do if you lose your passport.

Can I check-in the day before my flight?

Monarch do not offer a day before or twilight check-in. Most UK airports open their check-in desks approximately 2-3 hours prior to departure (depending on length of flight), however during the summer season (May to November) Gatwick open their check-in desks at approximately 2am and keep them open, whilst there are flights, throughout the day.

Please be aware that for security reasons, once you have checked your baggage in you should not leave the airport.

How do I know if my flight is on time?

Please contact the information desk at the appropriate airport for details on flight arrivals.

Can I check in for someone else?

No, every passenger must present themselves at the check-in desk.
