What is the child age limit?

 A child must be under the age of 16 on the return journey to qualify for a child discount, this is only applicable to Villa Holidays which includes flights and villa accommodation. 


What is the infant age limit?  

An infant must be under the age of 2 on the return journey to qualify for an infant fare and only applies to Villa holidays, which includes flights and accommodation. 


How much does an infant have to pay? 

Infants under the age of 2 on the day of return pay £35 charter and £59 scheduled on all EU flights (£59 charter and £99 scheduled on flights to Florida) and must travel on an adult's lap if there is no spare seat and have no baggage allowance nor in flight meal. They do not have to pay a holiday deposit. 


I have booked a hire car(s). How do I collect it / them? 

If you have booked and have paid for a hire car through us and you are travelling to either one of our European destinations or to the Canary Islands you will receive a car hire voucher within 4 weeks prior to your departure. This voucher details the car supplier that you need to go to on arrival. When you arrive hand the voucher over to your supplier, who will then process your booking and provide you with your car. If you are travelling to Florida you will receive an 'Alamo' car hire voucher within 4 weeks prior to your departure. On arrival go to the Alamo desk, hand over the voucher and Alamo will process your booking and supply you with your car. 


I have booked and paid for taxi transfer(s). What are the arrangements on arrival? 

 If you have booked a Villa Holiday, which includes flights and villa accommodation and have booked a taxi transfer you will be met by one of our representatives or locally appointed agent on arrival who will advise you of the arrangements made. Your return taxi transfer will pick you up from your villa no later than 10am and will take you to your departure airport. Therefore it is suggested you book a flight with a morning departure to avoid waiting around at the airport. 

 

How do I find the villa? 

With the exception of holidays to the Costa del Sol, detailed directions will be supplied to you by one of our representatives on arrival at your resort airport. If you are booking just the villa on a Villa Only arrangement basis, or a holiday to the Costa del Sol, then details will be provided prior to your departure.

   


 

Where do I collect my keys? 

This varies from villa to villa but if you are travelling on a Villa Only arrangement basis then details will be supplied along with your directions prior to departure. If you have booked a Villa Holiday package then your representative will advise on arrival in resort. 


When can we check in? 

From 4pm onwards. 


When do we have to check out?  

By 10am on the day of your departure. 


Can we stay in the villa later than the confirmed vacating time of 10am? 

This is not possible, as the villa will need to be cleaned and prepared for the next guest. 


I have satellite TV in the villa what channels does that include?  

It will be local satellite in the country that you are visiting. Limited English speaking channels are available – please do not expect the usual satellite channels you receive at home. 


Are linen and towels provided in the villa?  

All bedroom and bathroom linen is provided. You will need to take your own beach towels to use around the pool. 


Is there an iron and ironing board at the villa? 

Yes – they are included as standard in your villa. 


Is a breakage deposit payable? 

In certain holiday destinations there is a breakages deposit payable which is payable on arrival. The payment method is usually taken as a credit card imprint, except in the Algarve where the method of payment is by cash only. This deposit is later returned to you on your departure providing no damage has been made to the villa.

Firstly, we want you to book the Villa holiday or Villa Only that is right for you. Secondly, we want you to enjoy a memorable holiday, which provides great value for money. The Monarch Holidays Booking Conditions spell out our obligations to you and your commitments to us when you book a Villa Holiday or a Villa Only and together with the information contained in the Essential Information section forms the basis of our contract with you.
