1) What is my hand luggage allowance and what items can’t be place in hand luggage?
All customers over the age of 2 years are allowed 10kgs of hand luggage. This can be split between 2 bags as long as their combined size and weight is within the 10kgs, 56cm x 40cm x 25cm limit. Customers can also carry 1 small bag from duty free onboard. There are a number of different items that are not allowed in the cabin of an aircraft, you can find more details on the hand baggage page.
2) What baggage can I take when travelling with children?
If you are travelling with an infant under the age of 2 they are allowed an additional 10kgs of hold luggage as long as the parent has hold luggage booked. This can be in a separate bag or the same bag as long as the bags total weight is under 32kgs. Infants are not entitled to any hand luggage. All customers over the age of 2 are allowed 10kgs of hand luggage as well as any booked baggage under their name on the booking.
a) Car seats/Pushchairs
All children who require the use of a pushchair and car seat, can bring them for free. This is separate to any baggage allowance that has been booked. If you have 2 children and wish to take a double buggy, this is also allowed.
3) How can I edit or change my booking details
a) Name change
Name changes can be made by going to Manage my Booking.
b) Date and/or Destination change
Date/Destinations changes can be done by visiting Manage my Booking. If only one of the passengers is looking to make changes, please call us first so we can arrange this.
c) Email address on your booking
The only way to change an email address is by calling us. Please note security information must be confirmed before this can be done.
4) How can I make changes to my booking made with a travel agent or tour operator?
If you booked via a travel agent or tour operator and would like to make changes, you should contact the company the booking was made with. If you are looking to add extras such as baggage, seats and priority check in, this can be done by calling us.
5) How can I cancel my booking due to a medical condition or bereavement?
If you are unable to travel due to medical or bereavement reasons, we recommend you contact your travel insurance company.
6) Can I check in at the airport for free?
You can always check in and submit your API details for free at the airport. If you would like to check in online and don’t want to choose a seat, this can also be done for free, 24 hours before your outbound flight.
7) Which terminal am I flying from?

8) How can I request medical or special assistance?
If you have booked directly with Monarch, this can be done via Manage my Booking. If you booked via travel agent or tour operator, you should contact them.
9) What happens if my flight is disrupted?
If your flight is disrupted, we will keep you updated in the following ways:

In the event of major disruption, customers who have booked via a travel agent or third party should contact them directly.
