This new self-drive tour combines the adrenaline-charged fun of Orlando's theme parks, the sun-drenched beaches of the Gulf Coast and the vibrant city of Miami. You'll be visiting many of the sunshine state's key attractions and whether you choose our standard or superior accommodation, you can be sure of a comfortable stay in a prime location.

Highlights of Florida Standard Itinerary

Day 1

UK - Orlando

Begin your tour of Florida in Orlando, the theme park capital of the world! Wther you're looking to make the most of the parks, enjoy an array of shopping outlets or visit one of the area's fun-filled dinner shows, you'll find Orlando offers plenty to see and do!

ACCOMMODATION: Seralago Hotel or similar (4 nights)

Day 2 - 4


With 3 days to explore Orlando, theme park lovers will be delighted at the selection of fun-filled parks - you could choose to meet Mickey Mouse and friends at Walt Disney World Resort, watch Shamu perform at SeaWorld® Orlando or enjoy the thrilling waterslides at Aquatica™. If you prefer to go shopping, the Florida Mall and Pointe Orlando offer great facilities.

Day 5

Orlando - Cocoa Beach (83 miles)

Today you'll make your way towards the quintessential beach town of Cocoa Beach. You'll drive past Kennedy Space Center on your travels, so why not take a break from the road to learn about space exploration. On arrival in Cocoa Beach you could choose to visit the town's pier, or simply enjoy a meal in one of the restaurants.

Day 6

Cocoa Beach - Fort Lauderdale - Miami Beach (215 miles)

Today you'll drive south towards the Venice of America - Fort Lauderdale. With its intricate canal system and charming waterfront eateries this is the perfect place to stop for lunch. From here, you'll head to vibrant Miami Beach for a two-night stay.

Day 7

Miami Beach

With its white sandy beaches, shimmering turquoise waters and candy-coloured Art Deco buildings, it is easy to see why Miami Beach is so popular. Today you could relax on South Beach, visit the amazing array of birdlife at Jungle Island or visit Miami Seaquarium®. The vibrant Bayside Marketplace offers a good selection of shops, restaurants and outdoor entertainment to round off your Miami stay.

Day 8

Miami Beach - Key West (170 miles)

This morning you'll head towards the tropical paradise of Key West, Florida's southernmost city. You'll drive through the Florida Keys with its stunning views. You may want to stop off for lunch at Key Largo or Islamorada. One of the best places to head tonight is the Sunset Celebration to enjoy the buzzing atmosphere created by the variety of street performers and artists.

Day 9

Key West

Today you'll have a full day to explore Key West at your leisure,and with so many things to see and do you'll be spoilt for choice. You could choose to take a ride on the Conch Train, visit the author Ernest Hemmingway's home or perhaps enjoy the array of shops, bars and restaurants in bustling Duval Street. If you prefer, you could take a ferry to the remote islands of Dry Tortugas.

Day 10

Key West - Everglades - Fort Myers (281 miles)

Wave goodbye to Key West as you continue north on your tour. Your journey will take you through the natural paradise that is the Everglades. The best way to explore the area is by airboat, there will be plenty of opportunities to spot the area's native wildlife, including the famous Florida alligator! Continue to Fort Myers for a three-night stay.

Day 11 -

Fort Myers

Fort Myers and its surrounding network of islands really allow you to get back to nature. You'll find the area home to a selection of picturesque beaches that have become the habitat for everything from birds to sea turtles. Whether you want to try your hand at a spot of deep sea fishing or simply prefer to relax in dreamy sands there is something to suit your needs. The homes of Thomas Edison and Henry Ford add a touch of history, whilst the Sanibel and Captiva Islands Dolphin Watch allows you to witness dolphins in their natural environment.

Day 13

Fort Myers - Sarasota (92 miles)

A short journey away from Fort Myers, alongside the stunning Gulf of Mexico, you'll find pretty Sarasota. Boasting an impressive selection of beautiful white sandy beaches along the shores of its barrier islands, Sarasota is fast becoming one of the most popular resorts on the Gulf Coast. Away from the beach, this laid-back upmarket town is also one of the cultural centres of Florida, with a thriving arts scene and a handful of internationally renowned museums.

Day 14


Whether you care to unwind on the fine white sands, participate in a range of water-based activities or enjoy a spot of culture, Sarasota has it all. The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art is well worth a visit, with its stunning 20 acre waterfront plot home to a number of exhibits, circus museums and even a theatre; whilst the Mote Marine Aquarium is popular with wildlife lovers. If you prefer to round off your stay with adrenaline-charged thrills however, you'll find all the fun of Busch Gardens® Tampa Bay only a short drive away.

Day 15

Sarasota - Sanford Airport (157 miles)

Your time in Florida has almost come to an end. Depart your Sarasota hotel for Sanford Airport, where you'll make your return flight to the UK.
