Lygia : Accommodation Only
Tranquil and typically Greek Lygia lies on the east coast of Lefkas and makes a wonderful retreat for slow, stress-free holidays.
Centred around a pretty fishing harbour where colourful little boats still land copious hauls of fresh fish, this restful village has a handful of locally renowned tavernas serving the catch of the day, together with friendly cafes and a minimarket and bakery for your holiday essentials. A short walk from here, you'll find entrancing little coves laden with smooth pebbles and fringed with bright, crystal waters that merge into gorgeous views over to the Greek mainland. Criss-crossing walking trails beckon you up into the pine-scented hills behind the village and there are regular buses to both lively Nidri and the island capital of Lefkas Town when you're in the mood for shopping or energetic nightlife.
