Parga is excellent for cultural markets and shops lining cosy narrow streets, filled with local arts and crafts. Not ideal if you want to shop till you drop, but perfect for having a browse around the perfectly-made pottery and delicate antiques, giving you a great insight into this wonderful culture.

Like most of Greece, Parga offers simple local cuisines including good quality fish and slow-cooked meats. You will be spoilt for choice with many cafes and sweet tavernas, which boast stunning locations lining the waterfront.
