Sivota is not ideal if you want to shop till you drop, but perfect if you want to pick up some new shoes, bags or handmade jewellery. If you're a culinary whizz, make sure you check out the local liquors, honey and olive oil.

Like most of Greece, Sivota offers simple local cuisines including good quality fresh fish and slow-cooked meats, as well as a host of typical Greek specialities. You will be spoilt for choice with many colourful-canopied cafes and charming tavernas, which boast stunning locations lining the waterfront.

The nightlife of Sivota is largely focused around the waterfront, with a number of tradtional tavernas, restaurants and cafés lining the quayside. There is a disco that opens down by the waterfront in high season, however things are generally pretty low key here and tend to be centred around good food and drink.
