Villa Village Kookis Introduction

This attractive villa is part of a small complex just a short walk from the lovely sand-and-pebble beach at Keri. The semi-rural location is peaceful and great for exploring Zante, with a bus stop outside offering services around the island. Plus, you can take boat trips from nearby to beauty spots such as the Blue Caves and Marathonissi.

As for the villa itself, it sits in a row of others flanking pretty lawns and a network of paved pathways. Outside, its décor is in modern Greek style, with pale peach walls topped by a terracotta roof. The same, fresh effect dominates inside, with smartly furnished rooms done out in co-ordinating colours and creams. Taking centre stage on the ground floor is an open-plan living and kitchen area, furnished with comfortable sofas, a dining table for four and a satellite TV and DVD player. The kitchen comes with everything you need for a restful holiday, including a dishwasher. Rounding off the ground floor is the good-sized double bedroom and bathroom, while the second, en-suite twin bedroom is situated upstairs.

Outside, the small pool is skirted by a terrace and wooden sunloungers offering picturesque views over the surrounding hills. Close by is a shaded patio, which is decked out with a table and chairs perfect for relaxing over lunches and evening drinks.

Lastly, the complex offers a number of useful facilities, including a children's play area and a stylish bar.
