Tenerife

Tenerife is the largest of Spain’s Canary Islands, known for its endless sunshine, sea and sporty fun, it is a perfect destination that offers something for everyone. The island’s coast is dotted with beautiful beaches, some golden and some volcanic black sand but still plenty of space to place your sun lounger. The island is dominated by Mount Teide, which is among the world’s largest volcanoes, at over 7,500m high, it’s a must see – up close and from a far! The national park that surrounds it is nothing short of spectacular. You can even take a trip to star gaze. If you like a bit of adrenalin induced fun, then you simply must spend the day at Siam Park and take on some of the high energy rides. Tenerife’s plethora of activities makes it a popular holiday destination every year.

Lanzarote

Lanzarote is another great choice for families and couples alike. Timanfaya National Park and Fire Mountain is Lanzarote’s ultimate must-see. Be sure to catch the demonstrations of how hot the ground is when water is poured down a hole and returns to the surface as steam. Of course there are lots of beaches around the island where you can unwind and a hundreds of restaurants to dine in. For something truly different visit Jameos Del Agua, a wonderful underground cave system with a stunning concert hall.

Fuerteventura

Fuerteventura holidays are all about beaches – miles and miles of beautiful beaches. Corralejo boasts some excellent spots: Grandes Playas, Olivia beach, Waikiki beach, Glass beach, small harbour beach, Flag beach and sand dunes. Costa Caleta boasts a man-made beach and Las Solinas beach. If you’re looking for a day trip, head out to Los Lobos island by boat. This tiny volcano tipped island is absolutely beautiful, with a nature reserve, wildlife and beautiful sea birds, you can easily lose yourself in the island’s natural beauty. Expect a laid back vibe when visiting the Canaries it is one of the more quieter islands, perfect for a ultimate break for relaxation.

Gran Canaria

From golden beaches, beautiful scenery, a great climate combined with a variety of resorts there's always plenty to see and do on this island. There are lively resorts such as Playa del Ingles with buzzing bars and clubs, as well as more relaxed low-key resorts such San Agustin where you can unwind. One thing every visitor to Gran Canaria should visit is the vast sand dunes of Maspalomas, the breath-taking nature reserve is like nothing you’ve seen before, and some of the dunes reach up to ten metres. It is also a golfer’s paradise, with great courses at Maspalomas, the home of international golf events, amazing views at Salobre Golf and sea facing beauty at Meloneras Golf. The sunshine means you're pretty certain to be able to play every day - with challenging modern courses. For family holidays in Gran Canaria, explore the natural beauty of the island at Palmitos Park, home to 150 species of birds, a butterfly house, aquarium and gibbon island - a wonderful oasis of natural beauty. Just two miles north of Maspalomas is the biggest water park in the Canary Islands, with around 50 flumes, rides and even a minigolf site.

La Gomera
