Colombare di Sirmione : Holiday Accommodation
Colombare Di Sirmione is just a short distance from Sirmione’s 13th century Scaligeri Castle, making this a great spot for history lovers. Here you’ll discover the town’s beautifully rustic old quarter, which boasts charming cobbled lanes and a number of inviting shops, restaurants and traditional trattorias.
A little further up the headland from Colombare are the ancient Roman ruins Grottoes of Catullus. Other attractions include a medieval church and a number of enticing lakeside lidos - perfect for cooling dips under hot sunny skies.
There are plenty of ferry trips to embark upon and a short hop from Colombare you’ll find an inviting little pebble beach – a perfect spot to let the little ones play and explore.
Whilst Colombare is a peaceful destination, there are still plenty of restaurants serving evening meals and some lovely bars to enjoy a nightcap in.
