Lions Bluff Ziwani Safari Itinerary

Day 1

UK-Mombasa

Depart the UK on an overnight flight to Mombasa.

Day 2

Mombasa - Ngutuni Game Sanctuary

On arrival at the airport you will be met by your representative who will direct you to your safari vehicle. Proceed to Ngutuni Game Sanctuary (150kms - approx. 3hrs) arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive in the Sanctuary. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3

Ziwani Game Sanctuary

First thing this morning take part in a game drive guided by a skilled local tracker in Ngutuni Game Sanctuary - a wonderful experience that is not to be missed. Then return to lodge for breakfast, after which you will depart for Ziwani Sanctuary (100kms 3 hrs due to the road conditions) arriving in time for lunch. After lunch relax infront of the lake and on a good day you will be able to see Mount Kilimanjaro. Then take part in an afternoon game walk. Return to the lodge and relax till dinner time. You can either do the night game drive before or after dinner. Night game drive weather permitting. Dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Ziwani Game Sanctuary - Lumo Community Wildlife Sanctuary

In the morning, enjoy a delicious breakfast after an early morning game walk in the sanctuary. Then depart for Lumo Sanctuary (45mks 1 hour 30 mins due to road conditions). Lumo is a community-based co-operative, and works with the farmers and residents of the surrounding area to manage the land and water sustainably so that both the wildlife and the people can benefit, ensuring a healthy future for them all. This wonderful park, made up of three ranches joined together and set aside for wildlife conservation, features wonderful panoramic views. Enjoy a tasty lunch before taking part in an afternoon game drive in the sanctuary. The sanctuary is home to lion, buffalo, giraffe, aardwolf and antelope as well as migrating elephants, so keep an eye out for some wonderful sights during the drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 5

Lumo Community Wildlife Sanctuary - Mombasa

Early morning game drive followed by breakfast then departure (230kms - 5 hours taking a half an hour break) to your chosen Coastal hotel.
