Award winning low fares airline Monarch is once again leading the way by announcing its Winter 2010/2011 schedule from all four of its UK bases – Birmingham, London Gatwick, London Luton and Manchester. The schedule, which is currently on sale via www.monarch.co.uk from Birmingham and Manchester with Gatwick and Luton available from Friday (18 December), includes a new service to Gran Canaria for the winter season and sees increased frequencies to Lanzarote, Tenerife and Alicante.
Highlights of the Winter 2010/2011 schedule include:
- New route for winter – Luton – Gran Canaria – one flight per week
- Increased frequency – Luton – Tenerife – eight flights per week
- Increased frequency – Birmingham – Alicante – five flights per week
- Increased frequency – Birmingham – Gran Canaria – two flights per week
- Increased frequency – Birmingham – Lanzarote – four flights per week
Commenting on the launch of the schedule, Liz Savage, managing director of Monarch’s scheduled services, said, “We are delighted to have our Winter 2010/2011 schedule on sale ahead of many of our major competitors, which provides customers with the opportunity to plan ahead and grab a great deal on flights to their favourite winter sun destinations.

Winter 2010/2011 flights are available to book now on www.monarch.co.uk until the end of March 2011.
Monarch operates scheduled flights to Spain, Gibraltar, Portugal and Cyprus from Birmingham, London Gatwick, London Luton and Manchester airports. In addition to year-round low fares, Monarch also offers a unique range of tasty hot and cold meals onboard with prices from £3.00. To enable customers to select where in the cabin they sit and ensure that families and groups sit together, seats can be pre-booked at £7.50 per one-way flight, or from only £15, extra-legroom seats are available, which offer up to six inches of extra space.
Passengers travelling on scheduled flights can also avoid the queues at the airport and take advantage of online check-in which is available between seven days and 4.5 hours prior to departure.
