Leading leisure airline Monarch has been voted ‘best value for money’ by readers of Conde Nast Traveller magazine at a prestigious award ceremony this week.
Within the Short Haul Leisure Airline category, Monarch scored highest for ‘value for money’ with a satisfaction index of 80.80 (out of 100), beating off stiff competition from other low cost airlines and the traditional flag carriers. Overall within the category, Monarch was voted 7th and was the only low cost or charter airline to be placed within the top 10.
Commenting on the achievement, Managing Director of Monarch Airlines, Tim Jeans said, “We are delighted by the results of the Conde Nast Traveller Awards, which are voted for by the general public and clearly reflect Monarch’s strength within the short haul leisure airline sector. Monarch has always prided itself in providing exemplary levels of care and service at affordable prices and it's fantastic that this continues to be recognised by our customers’.
