Leading leisure airline Monarch is once again leading the way by announcing its Winter 2011/2012 schedule from all four of its UK bases – Birmingham, London Gatwick, London Luton and Manchester.

The schedule, which is on sale now via www.monarch.co.uk up until March 2012, includes a host of flights to European hotspots throughout Mainland Spain, the Balearic and Canary Islands, Portugal, Gibraltar and Cyprus with fares, including taxes, starting from £37.99 one way (£59.99 return).
 
Commenting on the launch of the schedule, Managing Director of Monarch Airlines, Tim Jeans said, “We are delighted to have our Winter 2011/2012 schedule on sale ahead of many of our major competitors, which provides customers with the opportunity to plan ahead and grab a great deal on flights to their favourite winter sun destinations.

“Our customers continue to choose our low fares and high quality service and with 1.26 million seats available next winter, both our existing customers and those who have yet to travel with us will be able to experience our award winning service.”

Monarch operates scheduled flights to Spain, Gibraltar, Portugal, Cyprus and Turkey from Birmingham, London Gatwick, London Luton and Manchester airports. In addition to year-round low fares, Monarch also offers a range of hot and cold meals that can be pre-booked or purchased onboard with prices from £3.00.  To enable customers to select where in the cabin they sit and ensure that families and groups sit together, seats can be pre-booked at £7.50 per one-way flight, or from only £15, extra-legroom seats are available, which offer up to six inches of extra space. 

Passengers travelling on scheduled flights can also avoid the queues at the airport and take advantage of online check-in which is available between 18 days and 4.5 hours prior to departure.
