Leading scheduled leisure airline Monarch recorded strong passenger numbers in November 2011, with almost 213,000 customers travelling to hotspots across Europe and the Mediterranean.
Despite capacity reductions of 6.04% in November 2011 vs November 2010, the airline saw passenger numbers decrease by only 5.64% and load factors rise to 87.95% which was assisted by the launch of Monarch’s new scheduled services from Gatwick and Manchester to the popular Red Sea resort of Sharm el Sheikh.

1. Represents the number of earned seats flown by Monarch. Earned seats include seats that are flown whether or not the passenger turns up because once a flight has departed a no-show customer is not entitled to change flights or seek a refund.
