2011 News - Flights - Monarch gives its planes the Royal stamp
07 04 2011
Leading leisure airline Monarch is celebrating the Royal Wedding with a personal message on some of its fleet of planes to congratulate Prince William and Kate Middleton and commemorate their special day.
Eight of Monarch’s aircraft have been christened with the ‘Congratulations Wills & Kate’ message based at Birmingham, Gatwick, Manchester and Luton airports.
Alongside this, Monarch is also offering people the chance to join in the fun and celebrations by launching a competition for anyone that spots one of the 'Royal Wedding' aircraft to take a photo of it and send it to Monarch at email@example.com, including their name, address and daytime contact telephone number.
A selection of the best photos will be published on www.monarch.co.uk and the three best entries will win:
1st place: Four return flights to any of Monarch's scheduled destinations (Mainland Spain, the Balearic and Canary Islands, Portugal, Gibraltar, Cyprus, Turkey or Greece)
2nd place: Two return flights to any of Monarch's scheduled destinations
3rd place: An extra legroom seat upgrade for two, valid on a Monarch scheduled flight *
All entries will be judged by Monarch and the competition runs from Wednesday, 6th April to 5pm on Friday, 6th May.
