Leading scheduled leisure airline, Monarch, has today launched its new inflight magazine, ‘Passport’. The launch of the magazine supports the airline’s aim to ‘put the fun back into flying’.

‘Passport’ replaces the airline’s previous publication, ‘Explorer’, which has proven to be a very popular read with Monarch customers over the last few years. The new, clean and contemporary design with eye catching illustrations and artwork makes the magazine appealing and easy to read. A host of features will interest a diverse audience, from airline news and on-location fashion shoots, to celebrity interviews and destination guides and reviews. Each issue will feature articles from noted journalists, and in the launch issue there is advice from wine expert, Olly Smith, and The Gadget Show’s Pollyanna Woodward.

The new look was the work of Brighton based design and media agency, Identity. Identity’s Gavin Newsham, Passport’s Editor, said: “In our opinion, an inflight magazine should do two fundamental things - engage and entertain the passengers on one hand and sow the seed for future adventure on the other. We think we’ve achieved that with Passport and we’re really proud of it.”
