NEW LOOK FOR MONARCH CUSTOMERS AT LONDON LUTON AIRPORT
(Luton, UK – 02, July 2014) - Monarch, the leading scheduled airline to leisure destinations, has now completed its new look London Luton customer service and ticket desk.
The updated and newly branded Monarch desk is now located directly next to the check-in desks meaning if any customers wish to upgrade their seats or have any queries, Monarch staff are on hand to provide assistance quickly.
The bright and colourful area, in the easily recognisable yellow and purple branding that the airline is well-known for, will be easy for customers to recognise from most areas of the check-in hall.
London Luton Airport, where the airline has its headquarters, is an important base for Monarch with millions of customers using the airport for their journeys. With two new routes, Naples and Antalya added to its Luton base this summer, more passengers will be flying Monarch from Luton and the new look customer service desk has been completed just in time for the busy summer period ahead.
To add to these new routes Monarch also has 33 new members of cabin crew who started flying from Luton in the spring after completing an intensive training programme., Part of this was the WorldHost customer service training which has now been completed by more than 1,500 members of staff, leading to Monarch becoming the world’s first airline to be awarded ‘WorldHost Recognised Business’ status.
Director of Customer Experience & Marketing, Tim Williamson comments: “I am very pleased with the new customer service desk at London Luton Airport. The vibrant design with the yellow and purple Monarch branding are very visible for everyone to see. Customers will easily be able to locate the customer service desk area for any questions or queries they may have.
“The desk is just one small part of a bigger range of new initiatives this summer for the airline including new meals, new seats and new routes. It’s great to have all these to offer our customers and to have the vibrancy of the Monarch colours beaming through the check-in hall at Luton.”
