Monarch Airlines is pleased to announce the appointment of Alistair Moffat to its Board of Directors in the newly created position of finance director.
Alistair will be responsible for all aspects of financial management including treasury, insurance and payroll and will head up the airline’s finance department of over 60 staff. His main areas of work interest cover systems implementation and enhancement, change management and employee benefits.
As a graduate and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, Alistair has many years experience in the transport industry, having previously held the position of finance director at First Group plc in its Scottish division, Alstom plc in its signalling division and Mainline Freight Limited. He has also held a number of senior positions within the rail industry.
At the same time, Terry Green has been promoted to the position of chief accountant. Terry has been with Monarch for more than 25 years and has held a number of senior positions within the company. He replaces John Ellingham, who retired after over 20 years with Monarch Airlines.Previous Page
