Monarch Airlines is pleased to announce the appointment of Joanna Robertson as head of PR and communications.
Jo joins the airline from T-Mobile, where she has worked for the last two years with responsibility for internal communications. Prior to this, she spent nine years working within the airline industry for Air UK and KLM, where she most recently held the position of PR manager for low cost airline, buzz.
Jo will head up Monarch’s busy press office, working alongside Lesley Singleton and Leah Rosewell, and will endeavour to maximise media exposure in the UK and throughout Europe of the low cost airline brand, Monarch Scheduled, as well as the charter operation. Reporting into sales and marketing director, Jonathan Crick, she also has responsibility for crisis and internal communications within the business.

Monarch Scheduled is the scheduled service division of Monarch Airlines offering services from Birmingham, London Luton, London Gatwick and Manchester Airports to destinations in Italy, Spain, Portugal and Gibraltar.
The airline, based at Luton, operates one of the most well-equipped fleets in the skies today comprising 19 Airbus and eight Boeing aircraft.
