01 11 2002
VANTAGE CLUB is the new frequent flyer programme launched by Monarch Scheduled on November 1, 2002. The scheme offers tiers of membership - indigo, silver or gold - with three levels of benefits. Vantage Club replaces the old Monarch Crown Advantage frequent flyer programme.
Monarch Scheduled has made it easier for passengers to join the scheme by reducing the qualifying criteria from four to just two return flights a year.
Regular travellers progress from indigo to silver and gold levels after completing five and eight return flights respectively. Members earn flying points for every flight taken which can be redeemed for free travel.
Other benefits of the Vantage Club scheme include priority wait-listing for flights and a dedicated reservations phone number.
Silver and gold members enjoy selected seating on board the aircraft, increased baggage allowance, priority check-in and advance registration for reservations. Gold members can use executive lounges, benefit from discounted car-parking at London Luton Airport and are offered a 50% discount on travel insurance with Voyager Travel Insurance Services.
Existing members of Monarch Crown Advantage will automatically become members of Vantage - regardless of whether they have met the qualifying criteria in the preceding 12 months. Accrued points will be transferred to the new scheme.
