Liz Savage, managing director of flymonarch.com, commented "We are delighted to be launching these new routes from London and have been overwhelmed by how well they have been received with the first flights to Palma, Almeria and Murcia now fully booked. There are plenty of low fare seats still available though on Monarch’s scheduled flights across the summer, with fares starting from only £38.99 one way (including tax)."
Monarch operates scheduled flights to Spain, Gibraltar, Portugal and Cyprus from Aberdeen, Birmingham, London Gatwick, London Luton and Manchester airports and was named as Leisure Airline of the Year in recent Travel Industry Awards. Fares on Monarch flights include complimentary daily newspapers, a refreshing hot towel service and there is no charge for checking in baggage – if within your 20kg allowance; also available is a unique range of tasty hot and cold meals with prices from £3.00. Seats can be pre-booked at £5 per one-way flight to avoid the last minute free-for-all experienced on some other airlines, or for only £15, why not try one of our 48 extra-legroom seats which offer up to six inches of extra space? Regular travellers are rewarded too, with a range of benefits through the airline’s loyalty scheme, Vantage Club.
Passengers travelling on scheduled flights can also avoid the queues at the airport and take advantage of online check-in which is available between 24 and 4 hours prior to departure or from 36 hours if you are a Vantage Club member.
