- 350,000 passengers carried on Monarch’s scheduled flights in July 2006 –
Low fares airline Monarch continued to see passenger numbers soar in July, with the airline reporting it’s busiest month to date. 349,707 passengers travelled on Monarch’s scheduled services during July, a 23.7% increase. The month also boasted its busiest ever-flying week, operating 472 flights.

1. Represents the number of earned seats flown by Monarch. Earned seats include seats that are flown whether or not the passenger turns up because once a flight has departed a no-show customer is not entitled to change flights or seek a refund.
