Low cost airline Monarch Scheduled, continues to go from strength to strength as it announces a 25% increase in passenger traffic during November 05, when compared to the same period last year.
During this time, a total of 181,656* passengers flew with the airline compared to 145,176 passengers in November 2004.
November also saw Monarch Scheduled celebrate 1.5 million passengers travelling with the airline from London Gatwick since flights commenced in Summer 2003.
This news follows the low cost carrier’s announcement to expand services from Birmingham International Airport, with new routes to Almeria, Menorca, Murcia and Palma de Mallorca and increased capacity on existing routes, as well as further expansion from Manchester with the introduction of Menorca.
Monarch Scheduled operates flights to Spain, Gibraltar and Portugal from Aberdeen, Birmingham, Blackpool, London Gatwick, London Luton, Manchester and Newquay. Fares include complimentary daily newspapers and a refreshing hot towel service; also available is a unique range of tasty hot and cold meals with prices from £2.50.
