Award winning low fares airline Monarch saw passenger numbers on its scheduled services in October soar once again, despite predictions that people would be deterred from flying by security fears and the mild autumn weather.
Monarch carried almost 21% more scheduled passengers than in the same month last year and introduced services from London Gatwick to Tenerife and from Manchester to Lanzarote, confirming its position as market leader on flights to the Canaries.
