- low cost airline responds to demand with extra flights and upgraded aircraft -
Responding to a surge in customer demand, low cost airline Monarch Scheduled has announced that it is adding more than 6000 seats to its schedule throughout the Easter period, meaning increased availability on an array of European holiday destinations.
Monarch Scheduled has upgraded the aircraft on various routes between 22 March and 08 April and, as a result, there are now extra seats available from Gatwick and Manchester to Malaga and Alicante and from Manchester to Barcelona, Faro, Palma and Tenerife. In addition, the airline has added an extra flight between Manchester and Palma on 24 March to cope with the extra demand for seats.
All this means it’s a great time to book a low cost late deal to Europe for the Easter holidays as there’s now added availability. You could be trying to stop your eggs from melting in the Alicante sunshine with a return flight from just £95 return including taxes, or spend a fortnight in Barcelona from just £130 return including taxes*.
Monarch Scheduled operates flights to Spain, Gibraltar, Portugal and Italy from London Gatwick, London Luton, Manchester and Birmingham. Prices start from just £30 one way (£47 return) including taxes. Fares include complimentary daily newspapers and in-flight entertainment and a refreshing hot towel service. Seats can be pre-booked to avoid the last minute free-for-all. Regular travellers are rewarded too, with a range of benefits through the airline’s loyalty scheme Vantage Club.
