- Over 322,000 passengers carried on Monarch’s scheduled flights in June 2006 -
Low fares airline Monarch has reported another record breaking month, carrying more scheduled passengers in June than ever before. 322,985 passengers flew with the airline on its 35 route network which is focussed on Spain, Portugal and the Canary Islands.
No dip in passenger numbers were experienced by Monarch as a result of the world cup, although traffic to the airlines website was ‘exceptionally quiet’ during England games.
