A dancing battleground will be created in Orlando, Florida, this year as the United States Dance Championships will celebrate its 37th annual meeting in the sunshine state.
The event will be held in relaxing surroundings of the Royal Pacific Resort from September 4th to 8th and will see ballroom dance stars from around the world compete in the prestigious competition.
Contestants will cha cha, rumba, mambo, waltz, tango and foxtrot their way into the judges affections, hoping to be crowned victorious. Lucky spectators may even be able to see the lively paso doble performed - a dance usually reserved only for the competitive stage.
Tickets for the event range from $20 (£10) to $70 (£35) with afternoon and evening sessions for dance enthusiasts hoping to see the cream of the dancing crop tested to their limits in what promises to be an occasion of great drama and grandeur.
For those seeking to take part in outdoor activities in the Florida sunshine, WomenFest may prove more to their tastes. A week of activities designed for women, the festival takes place between September 4th and 9th at Key West.
