Siam Park – described as Europe's "greatest" water kingdom - has finally opened its doors in Tenerife.

After six years of construction, the hugely anticipated attraction was officially unveiled yesterday (September 17th).

According to News LogiGantes, the park is "absolutely stunning" and looks set to be a sure fire hit with British holidaymakers.

Boasting 14 water slides, including the 28-metre Tower of Power, the park has something for all ages and even features a white sandy beach and Wave Palace.

Stretching for 185,000 square metres, Siam Park is Europe's biggest water-based attraction and looks set to attract thousands of visitors to the island annually.

Other features of the park include the Mai Thai River, the Lost City zone and the six-lane Naga Racer.

The largest of the seven Canary Islands, Tenerife boasts a number of other popular attractions such as Loro Parque, Tenerife Zoo Monkey Park and Masca Valley.
