Italy's most famous city – Florence – is to host a bonanza of art and entertainment from April 28th to May 26th.
The Fabbrica Europa, to take place in the old Stazione Leopolda, has grown famous in the years since it was conceived.
Those who like a good party flock to take part in the event, which features DJs, dancers and professional theatre companies from all over the globe.
And the 2007 incarnation of the event is set to be the best ever, focussing on European history and the theme of the "variable geometry" of cultures, languages and people within Europe.
There could not possibly be a better a setting for a festival of this kind than the breathtaking city of Florence, renowned world over for its art, culture and splendour.
Lying on the Arno River, Florence is the site of the beautiful Santa Maria del Fiore, known as the Duomo and the Ponte Vecchio, one of the most picturesque bridges in Europe.
