2008 News Archive - Holidays - Festive fair in Italy

05 10 2007

To escape the humdrum of Christmas shopping in the UK, a trip abroad could be the perfect answer.

Many European countries enjoy the festive season as much if not more than Brits, with many nations holding an array of Christmas fairs and entertainment in the build up to December 25th, Whatsonwhen notes.

Italy is a romantic country that could certainly add some spice to festive preparations, especially if travellers visit the Noel Noel fair to peruse the selection of crafts and gifts on display which could provide a plethora of unusual presents.

Surely a more relaxing experience than traipsing down a damp and dismal high street, the event organisers encourage exhibitors to be particularly creative with their stand presentations.

A family-friendly occasion, children may want to visit Father Christmas' house or the Nativity village to truly get them into the spirit of the season.

Held in Pisa, visitors may also want to take a look at the leaning tower the town is famed for.
