09 02 2009

Tourists looking for a fun-filled family holiday at credit crunch-beating prices may want to think about taking a trip to Palm Beach County, Florida, where the local tourist board has identified a list of the best free activities.

The top twenty suggested activities include watching family movies which are screened for free in the Old School Square during the summer, as part of the Friday Night Flicks programme.

Also recommended are visits to the various art galleries in the county, many of which are free and listening to the free public concerts which are held around the palm beaches.

Palm Beach County tourist board said: "A holiday in Palm Beach County can be easily filled with a vast array of free and fun days out and excitement for all the family, making a holiday to this beautiful and diverse part of Florida a truly value-packed one."

Recently, the Norton Art Museum in Palm Beach announced it will be opening an exhibition dedicated entirely to the music produced by Disney over the years.
