05 06 2007
From June 21st to August 26th Milan will host the Festival Latino Americando, which, as the name implies, celebrates all things Latin American.
Visitors will be wowed by the festival, which attempts to recreate the atmosphere of a small Latin American village in the middle of one of Europe's most sophisticated cities.
Musicians from all over Latin America will flock to the event and there will also be a plethora of performing arts, handicrafts, film, folklore and delicious food from the area.
Plazas representing Brazil, Cuba, Mexico, Peru, Argentina and more will all be represented at the "village".
Recent festivals have seen internationally renowned acts like the Salsa Kings from Colombia perform.
Milan itself during the summer is not to be missed, with its beautiful architecture and vibrant colour, there is a reason it is one of Europe's most popular cities with tourists.
The city is also home to two of Italy's greatest teams, Inter Milan and AC Milan, which both play out of the stunning San Siro stadium.
