2008 News Archive - Holidays - Moto GP to hit Valencia

11 06 2007

Fans of Moto GP will definitely not want to miss the finale of the Road Racing World Championships when they hit Valencia on November 4th.

The legendary Ricardo Tormo Circuit will be hosting the event, which will see the great Valentino Rossi compete with rivals such as Nicky Hayden, Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa.

Riders will have to deal with a combination of left and right turns on the track and a 650-meter straight that will have them slipping up the gears and gunning the accelerator.

Reaching speeds of up to 185 mph, these bikes create one of the most thrilling spectacles in the world, with overtaking a frequent and dangerous pastime.

Spain and especially Valencia has a long-held love of motor sports.

Located on the beautiful Costa del Azahar, Valencia is the third largest city in Spain and a thriving center of culture.

Blessed with a beautiful climate and lovely architecture, Valencia has become a popular tourist city.
