Holidaymakers looking forward to visiting Greece, Cyprus and islands in between may be pleased to know that easyJet has named many of these destinations in its summer 2008 schedule.
The budget airline is flying to Heraklion in Crete, Paphos in Cyprus, Mykonos, Rhodes and Corfu this summer.
Other destinations set to be opened up by the low-cost carrier include south Tenerife, Montpellier, Sharm El Sheik, Hurghada, Gibraltar and Dalaman.
Thanks to a deal by which easyJet will purchase Gatwick-based British Airways franchise GB airways the number of flights offered from airports in Gatwick and Manchester will rise to 72.
This deal is scheduled for completion in January 2008.
According to the Association of British Travel Agents, enthusiasm for holidays remains high among the British in 2008.
