2008 News Archive - Holidays - New Hard Rock Cafe planned for Majorca

09 10 2008

Britons enjoying holidays in Majorca will soon have a new place to eat, when Palma's Hard Rock Cafe opens its doors.

According to the Majorca Daily Bulletin, the famous chain is set to open a new branch close to Palma's cathedral on the Paseo Maritimo.

The new restaurant will feature a 300-seat terrace and serve a menu of "authentic all-American" food.

A spokesman for the Hard Rock Cafe told the newspaper that the branch will be easily accessible and within close proximity to Majorca's main airport and ferry terminal.

The first Hard Rock Cafe opened its doors in London in 1971, with worldwide expansion beginning a decade later.

Meanwhile, those travelling to Majorca will find no shortage of other eateries on the island.

According to bestofmajorca.net, some of the most popular restaurants include the Anima Restaurant, Koldo Royal Restaurant and Fabrica 23.
