Jazz fans will be excited to hear that the legendary Sonny Rollins is to play in Seville on November 19th this year.
The famous tenor saxophonist, well known for his sparkling live performances, will be playing in Seville's beautiful Teatro de la Maestranza.
Now 77, Sonny Rollins began his career when he was 11 years old, playing with the charismatic jazz pianist Thelonious Monk.
Rollins has recorded with some of Jazz's most enduring legends, including Miles Davis and Charlie 'Bird' Parker.
Throughout his careers, Rollins has continued to be one of the most experimental and fearless musicians in the world. Every record he has released has been radically different from the preceding one.
Rock music fans will know Rollins from his guest appearance on the Rolling Stones album Tattoo You, playing his saxophone on the famous songs Slave and Waiting On a Friend.
It is privelege to catch Sonny Rollins live and there could not be a more idyllic setting than the beautiful Spanish city of Seville.
