2008 News Archive - Holidays - Stags and hens 'head abroad this Easter'

20 03 2008

Easter weekend is a popular time of the year for stag and hen holidays abroad, one commentator has noted,

According to Fair Investment Company, there are an increasing number of such celebrations being held overseas, with the extra bank holidays happening over Easter a driving factor for those wishing to celebrate at this time of year.

Spanish islands such as Majorca are popular destinations for such stag and hen holidays, it is noted.

While fun is a priority for such holidaymakers, Fair Investment Company director James Caldwell reminded stag and hen parties to take out travel insurance.

"To travel anywhere without travel insurance is a risky business, let alone on a hen or stag do. I strongly advice the best man or bridesmaid in charge to make insurance a priority," he commented.

He stated that the importance of travel insurance is "paramount".

Hitched.co.uk recently advised that brides and grooms budget for their stag and hen do in their wedding costs.
