A new water park in Tenerife has been hailed as one of the island's most exciting attractions by a local newspaper.
The Tenerife News claims that the Siam water park, which cost 55 million euros (£50 million) to build "is worth every cent".
Siam Park, which features a Thai theme, boasts a beach of natural sand imported from Portugal and an incredible wave creating machine which allows visiting surfers to catch the perfect wave every time.
Tenerife News added: "For the adventurous there is the Tower of Power. At over 100 feet high, this near vertical slide will propel you down through an aquarium filled with tropical fish and deposit you the a small pool below."
While Tenerife has long been a popular destination for UK tourists looking for low-cost beach holidays, it also boasts a wide range of luxury accommodation and activities, according to the local tourist board.
