2008 News Archive - Holidays - Tuck in in Tuscany

05 12 2007

Those who love their chocolate will get another great excuse to do so if they head to the Tuscan town of Monsummano Terme in February.

Between February 2nd and 4th the town goes cocoa crazy as the Cioccolosita faestival takes place, offering visitors the chance to indulge their sweet tooths with a variety of local delicacies made of the wonderful brown stuff.

This celebration of the art of the chocolatier is sponsored by the slow food movement, appreciating the time which needs to be dedicated to producing such tasty wonders.

Chocaholics can spend their three days enjoying this treat before enjoying the wider beauties of the region.

Tuscany is of course famous for its beautiful countryside, renaissance architecture and many classic wines.
