2008 News Archive - Holidays - Whale meet again

21 11 2007

Visitors to Puerto Vallarta in Mexico will not just be able to spend some of their winter in conditions that are anything but wintry; they will also be able to take to the water and see some of the most wonderful creatures of the sea in action.

Up until the end of March 2008 the whale watching season offers the chance to get in a boat and see the magnificent humpback whales leaping in and out of the water as these remarkable animals migrate.

There are a number of approved vessels which will watch from a safe a respectful distance as the aquatic mammals put on the sort of display which may make it easy to understand why so many people are keen to conserve them.

Apart from the fascination and the conservation awareness created by watching the whales, Puerto Vallarta also offers many fine beaches and good surfing to enjoy far from the cold British winter.
