Families hoping to spend Christmas in the Florida Keys this year have a host of options available to them.
According to fla-keys.co.uk, a number of festive events are lined up for the keys, starting with the Florida Keys Holiday Festival in Islamorada, which starts on December 5th.
Following this holiday parade, which includes a visit from Santa himself, there will be the Sounds of the Season concert in Key Largo Community Park on December 13th.
The day after, Marathon is host to the Key Colony Beach Lighted Boat Parade, which sees boat decks brought to life with extravagant illuminations.
Rolling the clock forward to New Year's Eve, Key Largo will be the place to be, where the back bay will be the venue for a spectacular fireworks show.
The Florida Keys region is currently celebrating 100 years of conservation, with coral reefs, wild deer and the great white heron among the area's ecological features.
