2008 News Archive - Hotels & Villas - New Dubai hotel to open

19 10 2007

Dubai, a land famed for its lavish and spectacular architecture and hotels, is to have one more addition when Festival City opens next month.

The building, owned by InterContinental, is located on Dubai Creek and will add to the plethora of landmarks that make up the vistas in the emirate.

Luxury is the name of the game in Dubai's hotels, with this 501-bedroom spectacular being no exception. All bathrooms will have panoramic views and rooms will come equipped for the 21st century, with LCD TVs, VCDs and high-speed broadband.

"All rooms will have a choice of views including the Dubai Creek, the Festival Marina or the world-class shopping centre," states InterContinental.

The building is also impressive from the outside, with a unique fan-shaped roof.

Lottery winners and those with plenty of money may also wish to stay in the Burj Al Arab, the self-styled seven-star hotel that offers the appearance of a ship's sail.
