Neustift Ski Resort

One of the most snowsure ski areas in the Alps, thanks to the Stubai Glacier nearby. A cute little village lies not far above Innsbruck with lots of little ski areas thrown in nearby. While there is no large ski area, the little ones are quite well linked and this also gives the impression of skiing over a large distance. The Stubai Glacier lies further up the valley and has excellent snow cover year round. Even in poor snow winters there is always good skiing on the glacier and it also remains open well into the summer.

Its proximity to Innsbruck is a big factor in its popularity. You can get an early morning flight from the UK to Innsbruck, get a taxi up to Neustift and be skiing by lunch time the same day.

A great range of skiing and only a stone's throw from Innsbruck airport. The nearby Stubai glacier means that keen off piste skiers can ski from 3000m down to 1000m, impressive even by alpine standards!
